Split
Split, a city and port in Central Dalmatia. Situated on a peninsula between the eastern part of the Gulf of Kastela and the Split Channel.
Split is not only an urban, cultural and traffic centre of Dalmatia with road and sea connections to Dalmatia's numerous summer resorts, but it is itself often a tourist and excursionists destination.Split has a variety of restaurants and wine cellars, offering domestic specialities. There are many beaches and public beaches in the city and its surroundings, the most popular of them being Bacvice, a sand beach almost in the very heart of the town.

Trogir
Trogir is a town-museum in the very meaning of the word. Lovers of cultural and historical monuments, art, original architecture and nice alleys are given the opportunity in Trogir to learn about the manifold and complex heritage.
The old core is situated on a small island between the island of Ciovo and the mainland; connected with the mainland by a small stone bridge, and with the island of Ciovo by a drawbridge. Primosten
Primosten, a small town and harbour on a small peninsula between the coves of Raduca and Primosten, 30 km southeast of Sibenik.
Various sports and recreational opportunities include tennis, table tennis, bowling, beach volleyball and yachting. Yachting and diving schools are also provided. Visitors may choose between 50-odd restaurants, taverns, etc. The most famous local speciality is spiny lobster a la Primosten. The discotheque Aurora is the largest one in Dalmatia. Numerous cultural events and entertainment programs take place in the summer months.

Ciovo
In the east, Ciovo is about 2 km away from the mainland (Cape Marjan); in the north-west it is connected with the mainland by a bascule bridge (in Trogir).
The island is actually an extension of Trogir but also a kind of breakwater for the Kastela Gulf. On the western part of the island are sand and pebble beaches, the largest being those in the Saldun bay. Along with vacation opportunities, Ciovo also offers a number of tourist attractions and historical monuments. Accommodation facilities are provided in Arbanija, Donji and Gornji Okrug, Ciovo and Slatine (rest homes).

Rogoznica
Rogoznica, a village and harbour in the cove bearing the same name, 25 km south of Sibenik.
The village is located on the peninsula (the former islet of Kopara was connected with the mainland by an artificial dyke in the second half of the 19th c.) which divides the cove of Luka Rogoznica into the western and the eastern part.Since Rogoznica has a number of fishermen, fresh fish is regularly offered. Among local specialities, the best is Rogoznica-style fish stew ("brudet").

Razanj
Ražanj is a small, northern Dalmatian place between Primosten and Rogoznica, 30 km from Sibenik.
Since this traditional fishing settlement has taken advantage of its beautiful shores with rocky beaches, many tourists who look for peace and quiet spend their holidays in its private houses and pensions. The crystal clear sea, far from tourist complexes and camping sites, is great for water sports, while there are small concrete docking places in front of private houses.

Vinisce
Vinisce, a village and small harbour 12 km southwest of Trogir.
Chief occupations are farming, fishing and tourism. The coastal strip near the village provides opportunities for underwater fishing, and is distinguished by attractive inlets with sandy and pebble beaches (Vinisce, Voluja, Ricevo Velo, Stari Trogir, Sicenica). Vinisce lies on the branching road of the main road.

Maslinica
Maslinica, a village and harbour in the cove of the same name, on the western coast of the island of Solta.
The coast around Maslinica is indented, with a number of coves and small pebble beaches (Tepli Bok, Soskova, Poganica, Vela Luka). A local road connects Maslinica with other places on the island. The cove provides docks for smaller yachts and is well protected from all winds.

Necujam
Necujam, a tourist resort and excursion destination in the cove of the same name on the northern coast of the island of Solta.
The cove is 1.8 km long, up to 1.2 km wide and up to 40 m deep. There are many visitor facilities on the coast: a tourist village, rest homes and numerous weekend houses with small beaches. There are regular ferry and ship lines with Split. Various entertainment programs are organized during the tourist season, the most important being the traditional fishermen's fiesta.

Stomorska
Stomorska, a village on the north-eastern coast of the island of Solta.
Chief occupations are farming, seafaring, fishing and tourism. Situated on the regional road running along the island. Stomorska has several fine restaurants, and recreation is linked to water sports opportunities. The south of Solta has many beautiful coves: Livka, Travna, Stracinska, Grabova and Senjska. The Gornja Krusica cove, east of Stomorska, is a weekend and summer resort.
