Makarska

Makarska, a town, port and tourist centre in a large cove, enclosed by Cape Osejava in the south-east, and the Sveti Petar (St. Peter) Peninsula, at the foot of Biokovo, in the north-west.

Makarska is the tourist centre of the riviera of the same name. The town developed in the form of an amphitheatre, on the coast and at the foot of Biokovo. It consists of the old town core of Mediterranean type and the new part with hotels, restaurants, shops etc. Makarska is also a health resort, with the well-known recreational and health centre Biokovka, which offers various therapeutic services.

Baska Voda

Baska Voda, a town and harbour on the Makarska littoral, 9.5 km northwest of Makarska.

Visitor opportunities include various sports and recreational activities (tennis, football, handball, table tennis, miniature golf, fishing, hiking, etc.). Entertainment opportunities in the evening and night hours include various programs in bars, discotheques and on summer terraces. A number of restaurants and inns offer local specialities. Supetar

Due to its long nice sand beaches, enclosed by forests of pine, Supetar has long been a popular summer resort. Many will find the coast around Supetar, between Mirca in the west and Splitska in the east, an ideal place for swimming.

Lokva Rogoznica

Lokva Rogoznica is a small place and it's ten kilometres far from Omiš (on our way to Makarska). It is situated near the Adriatic Highway.

There is a huge number of apartments, rooms for renting and a few camps. Lokva Rogoznica is situated at the foot of the mountain and it can offer you all you need for your relaxation and pastime. The old village is above the Highway and below the Highway one can find beautiful beaches.

Brela

Brela, a town in central Dalmatia, situated on the Makarska Riviera, at the foot of Biokovo.

Bol

Situated in a secluded place, on the southern coast of Brac, Bol is the oldest town of Brac and one of the most famous seaside resorts of the Adriatic.

East and west of Bol are numerous shores, beautiful beaches; the most famous - and probably the most beautiful on the Adriatic - is Zlatni Rat. This pebble cape is a unique phenomenon - it stretches into the open sea in the shape of a tongue, with its tip changing the form and moving to one and another side, according to the direction of winds and waves.

Sutivan

Sutivan, (Stivan), a village and harbour in the extreme west of the northern coast of the island of Brac, 7 km west of Supetar.

A park with a palm alley is situated at the end of the cove, on the former moorland. The coastal strip along the village has been forested (Aleppo and star pines). A local road connects Supetar with all settlements on the island. Smaller yachts can berth in the port; large vessels anchor in front of the port.

Postira

The traditional cultural and entertainment event, the Postira Summer, comprises the feast days of St. John the Baptist, patron saint of the parish (24th of June), Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (16th of July) and the Assumption (15th of August).

Milna-Hvar

Milna, a village and harbour on the southern coast of the western part of the island of Hvar, 4 km east of the town of Hvar.

It is the youngest village on the island, developed (1956) by settling of the population from Malo Grablje. A local road connects the village with the town of Hvar. The harbour is protected from the bora and accepts smaller yachts.

Zavala

Zavala, a village and small harbour on the southern coast of the island of Hvar, 13 km south of Jelsa.

Chief occupations are farming, viticulture, fruit growing, fishing and tourism. Zavala consists of an older, interior, and a newer, coastal part with a pier and a beach. The village is located on the local road; the construction of Plitve - Zavala tunnel meant a better connection between Zavala and Jelsa.
