Blato, a town in the interior of the island of Korcula (4-odd km from the coast), 7 km southeast of Vela Luka. It lies on the eastern edge of the Blato field.

These are the picturesque coves of Grscica and Prizba, Karbuni and Potirna. In front of them is a group of islands with beautiful beaches. Brna, a cove, small harbour and hamlet on the southern coast of the island of Korcula, 4 km southwest of Smokvice; a pier for the village of Smokvice.

Apart from accommodation facilities, tourists are also offered delicious fish specialities in the village restaurants close to the sea, as well as excellent wines (Posip, Rukatac) from Smokvica. The Istruga cove, close to Brna, is full of mud having healing properties, which is often used by the local population; organized therapies have not been provided yet.

Racisce

Racisce,a village and small harbour on the northern coast of the island of Korcula, 12 km west of the town of Korcula.

The village was populated in the second half of the 17th century, after the Candian war, mostly by the refugees from the Makarska littoral, and around 1730 by the people from southern Herzegovina. Until the beginning of the 20th century Racisce had a large number of sailing ships. In the middle of the village is the parish church of St. Nicholas, dating back to the Baroque time.
